The collection contains 53 photographs and post cards, 1913, from Jacob Elon Conner to Bessie Watson, from Russia, Greece and Turkey. There are 2 photographs, 1913, of Norman Hackett, one inscribed to Miss Watson, the other to Col. Rives. There are also letters from Rives, mostly to Lucille McWane Watson, Lynchburg, Va., and a number of clippings about Rives and her husband, Post Wheeler, one of which came from a Town and Country article, 1908 June 13, about the United States Embassy in Japan, where Mr. Wheeler was stationed.
